Complex carbohydrates Keep Blood Sugar Concentration


Healthy food - For years people with diabetes are encouraged to avoid sweets, cakes and other sugary foods because it is assumed to be faster elevate blood sugar levels. However, research shows that it is not true. All carbohydrates, including sugar kitchen, affect blood glucose with almost the same way.

The most important thing on carbohydrates is not dependent on the edible kind, but rather on the portion of the diasup. If you consume more carbohydrates than usual, there is a possibility you do not have enough insulin to carry excess inventories of sugar into the cells, which could result in increased blood sugar levels.


One way to help control blood sugar is by eating the same amount of carbohydrates at specific times each day. It's best to consume a mixture of complex and simple carbohydrates.

The benefits of complex carbohydrates (starch) is that the body takes longer to decompose it into sugar. Thus, the sugar enters the bloodstream with a more stable speed. Include carbohydrate foods in a high-fiber mixtures. The more fibers that contained food, the more slowly and the slower the digestion process also increase blood sugar levels.


Source of complex carbohydrates such as whole grains (rice, maize, wheat), tubers, sago, and sebaginya. Simple carbohydrate sugar product itself or the easily digested into sugar, such as honey, syrup, cake, and jam, the faster the body uses as energy so quickly lead to hunger.
