Pyramid, healthy food guidelines

Benchmark with diet planning with the balanced nutrition tailored to the needs of the body.

At the bottom of the pyramid there are groups of carbohydrates (rice, bread, noodles, rice noodles, pasta, cereals) which is the main energy source. This group may be in/create the largest portion, 60-70%

The second line is the fiber that is a source of vitamins and minerals. The group is still allowed in/create with a portion but not as much as many servings of carbohydrates. Vegetable box bigger than the box indicates the fruit, vegetables need in/create more than fruit.

The third row consists of two boxes is the source of protein and minerals. The right box is the food source of animal protein and vegetable. Box left is milk and its products. The third row narrower than the previous line, which means fewer needs. Because this group contains quite a lot of fat.

Column peak of fats and oils group. Which includes among other things: cooking oil, fat from beef/chicken, salad dressings, soft drinks, candy and chocolate. This group produced a lot of calories but little nutritional content. Therefore it is recommended to consume only a little.
