Every day the kidneys will process about 200 quarts of blood to filter or produce approximately 2 liters of 'junk' and the extra (excess) water. Extra garbage and this water will become urine, which flows into the bladder through a channel known as the ureter. Urine is stored in the bladder before it is released as you urinate.
Substances that are not used anymore or waste obtained from solving the normal process of muscle and of the food consumed. The body will use food as energy and for tissue repair. After taking the body to taste the food, the rest will be sent to the blood to then filtered in the kidney. If impaired renal function, the ability to filter waste materials can be subject to accumulation also occurs in the blood and so can lead to various manifestations of disorders of the body.
In general, the kidney has a very important function, among others:
1. As a system filter and remove waste from the body
2. Maintain body fluid balance
3. Produces hormones that regulate blood pressure
4. Producing a hormone erythropoietin that helps manufacture red blood cells
5. Activate vitamin D to maintain bone health
