The expert from America whom are the member of International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in meeting American Association for Cancer Research, in Orlando, explain the studying that tell about Oral Sex risk. Oral sex habits, the researchers say, would very likely lead to lung cancer, especially if you do not do the vaccine HPV (human papillomavirus), the type of virus known widely as the causes of sexually transmitted infections. Previous studies also have found links between oral sex with a few other cancer types such as cancers of the mouth and throat.

In the research, experts from the IARC found links HPV view of lung cancer after comparing HPV antibodies than 1633 lung cancer patients with 2729 patients who were suffering from lung cancer. The results showed that HPV was associated with an increased risk of lung cancer by 30 percent.

HPV has been known to cause mutations in cells that trigger cancer in the organs of the bersentuhkan directly with viruses such as cervical or throat through oral sex. But how HPV can reach the lungs?

"It is believed that HPV in the mouth can enter the lungs through the mucus (phlegm) and lead to infection of the respiratory tract and may lead to cancer,"says Anantharaman Devasena, Ph.D., a researcher who compiled the IARC study.

Although HPV is proven to penetrate the lungs, the experts stressed the need for further study to determine whether it is true that the HPV virus cause cancer of the lungs.
